CHRISTIAN FICTION

PURPOSE: In today’s world there is a need for fiction that conveys a Christian message as an alternative to fiction that is often atheistic and amoral in nature. This event encourages the growth of creative writers to use their skill in a Christian arena.

 The Event Director will:

1. Send confirmation of receipt to the Church Coordinator if a stamped postcard or email address is included.

2. Organize and send copies of the stories and judging forms to the judges for judging. Judges may use the copies submitted for critiquing. If so, these copies will also be returned to the participant.

5. Provide a copy of each story for display at the convention.

RULES:

The Title of the Composition must be on the first page.

2. The story can be any form of fiction, such as a mystery, an action story, a fable, etc., as long as the current LTC theme is reflected. The theme could be reflected throughout the story, in the climax, or in the conclusion, as long as it is clear to the reader that the theme is being taught, or presented in story form.

4. The story should include appropriate fiction elements such as plot and character development.
